GARLIC folklore in the Middle Ages is most famously known for warding off werewolves and vampires. It was worn around the neck and hung in doorways to guard against evil-spirits. Ancient Egyptians believed it to be so healthy, they tried taking it with them into the afterlife! Garlic is an extremely powerful detoxifier cleansing the blood and lymphatic systems. It's also a powerful antibacterial/antiviral and wards off sickness by boosting the immunity. It's important to eat garlic raw, as it looses most of it's medicinal qualities once cooked. If I ever feel the onset of a cold or flu, l make a powerful concoction called 'Dragons Breath'. It consists of 2 cloves of garlic, one inch diameter of ginger, one squeezed lemon, 1/8 tsp cayenne, one tsp of raw honey and about 4 oz of water, mixed in a blender. Taking it 2-3 times a day, is like being in a boxing ring with that flu of a werewolf. I knock out that fowl creature every time I take a shot of Dragons Breath, which finds me on my feet and onward with my life within a day.!
